Not everyone who is a feminist has such a dismal view of motherhood. I'm always confused by any brand of feminism that has such a rigid definition of what women should or shouldn't do. To me, if feminism is truly about empowerment, then it is about giving us the freedom to choose whatever life we want to live...even if it happens to include (gasp!) motherhood.<BR/><BR/>Incidentally, the article reminded me of a <A HERF="http://thestar.blogs.com/broadsides/2008/06/kid-you-not.html">post</A> on another blog that I read, which also dealt with the whole kids or no kids issue.
