What Happened to May?

>> Wednesday, June 03, 2009

The month has zoomed by and I have little to show for it, on this blog and elsewhere.

Back to regular programming . . . soon.

Until then I'll leave you with a nice quote from my hero of silly books, Dr Seuss:

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

What happened to half of 2009? I turned 40 this year... A Pink Floyd lyric keeps rolling round my head... "And then you find 10 years has gone behind you, no one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun". Where has 40 years gone? Where has 10 years in Phuket gone? :)

I am guessing you know the song "Who knows where the time goes" by Sandy Denny?

Happy June!
Jamie

May - the month I was in Phuket with Jamie. I had in my head that I would love to meet you - but I never got around to it.
Ah well, next time maybe.
Meanwhile keep writing and sharing your thoughts and activities.
May has gone now - lets get on with June.
Paula.

About Phuket

It's pronounced "pooh-ket", not "fuckit".
Its population is roughly 30% Chinese-Thai, 30% Malay Muslim Thai, 30% Buddhist Thai and an assortment of nutjobs and wackos such as myself.
It's a great place to come for holiday, but I'd rather you not because there's enough traffic here already, thank you very much.
It's a long way from Canada.
