Another weird conversation

While reading a Berenstain Bears bedtime story, about Mama bear expecting a new cub...
He: She's got the baby in her stomach!
Me: You remember when baby sister was in my stomach?
He: Yes! I remember when I was in your stomach too!
Me: Ya?
He: Yes! It was scary.
Me: Scary? Why?
He: A lot of water in there. Lots of water. Scary.
Me: Wha?!

Is he 3? This is the time when the ability to recall matches the ability to express and you hear all about it. Then the window of recollection is closed by the thud of rational, critical thinking. My daughter told me when she was 3: "Before you were my mommy I had another mommy but she died and I cried and cried and then you came." She also asked me,"Was I born upside down?" (Meaning head first).
Yep, he's three! I can't slip anything past him unnoticed or unremembered...
Very interesting... because I have a reminder of that, too. Swimming in a thick water, try to catch and catch something like a round steering-wheel. couldn't get ist, because it always moved away, like a dancing water hose. Maybe this was my umbilical cord...??? Who knows! Lot of people tell me, that this is a dream I once had, but I believe in my reminder.
